My Dear Horsemen at Evangeline,

I regret to inform you that, due to the unprecedented closing of the New Evangeline Downs Race Course until June 30th and the fact that there is no space large enough to have this program at the old EVD, the "RACEHORSE EDUCATION SEMINAR" has been canceled.

The "Super Summer Institute" for the State Board of Education from July 25th through July 28th, has been moved to the Fair Grounds in New Orleans.

I will be back next spring to try this again. Hopefully I will be able to begin in the first week of May like I had originally planned for this year.

Know that I am very sorry about the difficult turn of events for all of us in Louisiana racing and I am full of hope that everything will be settled with the new track quickly for everyone's sake.

If you have any questions or comments regarding the classes, which will next occur at the Fair Grounds in December, please leave a message for me at our home office and I will return the call ASAP. Blessings to all of you and your horses.
