The purpose of the plan is to provide retirement and other benefits to Trainers who comply with the terms and conditions set forth in the Louisiana Horsemen’s Pension Plan. The benefits are being provided to Trainers as members of the Louisiana Horsemen’s Benevolent & Protective Association (LA HBPA) and as beneficiaries of the Louisiana Horsemen’s Pension Trust (Trust).
